SOAP  OPERA 

A soap opera is a serialized form of storytelling that allows for long and dense narratives to unfold over generations in real time, originally starting on radio and later moving to television, often focusing on domestic realism, family values, and professional settings like hospitals and courtrooms.

The Script structure of Soap Operas

The plot of a Soap opera has a few parallel tracks or sub-plots in the storyline which run simultaneously with the main story, providing possibility of a bigger expanse and larger number of characters.
Significant features of soap opera

In Daily soap the narrative is closely followed on a day to day basis, but in a weekly soap, there is relatively more scope to try out other alternatives.
